Sehatnews – Following the release of version 4.0 for GRID Legends at the end of October, Codemasters provided another update on Thursday. With V5.0, further product maintenance is carried out and improvements are made at various points. As the changelog shows, difficulties with the online mode have mostly been eliminated.
Along with the update came the Rise of Ravenwest DLC, which is available as part of the GRID Legends Deluxe Edition or individually for $9.99. GRID World Series team Ravenwest Motorsport returns to the spotlight with the premium game pack.
Coupled with this is a nostalgic look back at Ravenwest’s dramatic history with 3 new career events and 11 new story events, including the legacy of Donnie McKane and the pivotal moments that led to Nathan McKane’s five GRID World Series titles. Each era has a distinct look and feel appropriate to the game and era it represents – from Ravenwest’s first appearance in the early 2000’s to Race Driver: GRID, and beyond.
Driving is also allowed on the Miami street circuit. Since it was last used in GRID 2, the developers have heavily revised the track, which now offers a total of six layouts. There are also four new vehicles, the Ford Mustang ’67 Fastback, the Chevrolet ’67 Corvette C2 and the Chrysler ’71 Plymouth GTX plus the BMW 320 Turbo Group 5.
There are ten new achievements/trophies to unlock for collectors, as well as a selection of new sponsorship goals, wraps, icons and banners. And time-limited content is available to get you in the mood for Advent and Christmas. Like Halloween a few weeks ago, a special 5-lap race featuring GT2 class cars will project festive lights onto the streets of Chicago and add an extra layer of snow to Chicago’s snowy landscapes.
